We're back from Belgium. It had been a good trip for all of us though we didn't appreciate the heat much. The girls had ice-cream almost everyday and luckily I resisted having one with them everytime. We'd never drunk so much water in just a few days. Bought so many 1.5L bottled water. Before we went, I wondered what I could do with the girls and where I could bring them to. But everything went well and we had a good time. Will post pics and write about trip next. Haha! I realised I'd not posted any pics from my last trip to Disneyland here (but I did upload them to my Kodak Gallery :p) and my entry about that trip is still (!!!) in my draft folder.

Unveiling my garden
My garden is finally done and complete. Well, almost. A little more digging and I'm done. After all the perspiration, bruises, tanned skin and lots of hardwork, here is my little long and narrow garden.

Just completed this a few hours ago. 2 more to go!
Hope we'll have more of these when the weather's not so hot.
Party Invites
The invites for Louisa's birthday party next month are done and given out. She requested for a princess theme this year. I made 2 versions - one for prince and another for princess as I thought the Disney princess invite will be too girly for the boys. The girls' invite can double-up as a door hanger. I'm quite happy with the 2 designs. More planning to be done!

Corn Loving
Both my girls love sweetcorn. I remember when Louisa was young, my mum's maid used to cook vegetable soup with sweetcorn very often as that was something she would eat it quickly without any fuss. Lavigne also has a great liking for the yellow kernels. She can chomp down one whole corn all by herself.

The world looks pink
Lavigne climbed up on her stroller, got hold of Louisa's sunglasses and put it on. I quickly got hold of the camera as this shot is too good to be missed.

Circus Fun
Louisa's school organised a circus and we all went there today. If not for the heat (36 degrees), we would have enjoyed ourselves totally. Louisa and Lavigne were perspiring so much. Luckily I prepared cold juice for them to bring along.

Unfortunately, most of the indoor shots didn't turn out well.

Fruit Picking (again)
We went to Garsons today again. The cherry season has started and moreover since Lydia and Daniel are here, we decided to make a visit to the farm again. By the time we reached the farm, it was around noon and the sun was scorching so we didn't spend much time picking strawberries. We headed to the cherry section and there were loads of people. I've never seen a cherry tree and all of us had so much fun picking the cherries. They were huge! About double the size of those sold at Cold Storage or Carrefour. At first, we couldn't find much fruits. Then we realised most of them were hidding at the back of the trees and most people had missed them. Or maybe it was because the fruits were hard to reach. In fact, I had to squeeze through in between the branches to get to the back. It was so fun I wished I could stay longer to pick more. But if I did, I'd have burnt a hole in Adrian's pocket as they are not cheap.

BBQ
We had a BBQ today. Adrian invited a couple of his colleauges over and we had a wonderful time. There were plenty of food (in fact I prepared too much) and the girls had a whale of a time. It was a lot of work having to prepare the food myself. Luckily Mayu and Jessica came early and helped me to thread the vegetables and chicken onto the skewers. There wasn't much food left to be kept in the fridge as the guests dabao most of the leftover home. Phew!

Princess for a Day
Louisa's nursery was having a 'Sleeping Beauty' theme for the week. Today, the children were asked to dress up as princes and princesses. Louisa was all dolled up and since Lavigne has a party dress, I dressed her up too.
