Bits and Bobs

Camera
Dear oh dear! My camera is really gone case. I changed the batteries yesterday and took less than 10 shots. This morning at Louisa's special assembly performance, I turned it on and it froze and went blank. As a result, I don't have any pictures of the performance. *Wail*! Luckily, Adrian brought along the videocam.

I've kind of decided on getting the Canon Powershot S Series. But S5 is a year old and by the look of the release dates of past models, I reckon S6 will be launched pretty soon. Hence, I'm not buying at the moment and will wait for the new one. Meanwhile, what am I going to do with no camera?!

Hayfever
This year has to be the worst hayfever I've ever had. For weeks now, I've been having itchy eyes and runny nose. Every single day. It's like having a permanent cold. Every morning when I wake up, I'll sneeze continuously for like 10 times? I'm like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. My nose feels dry and sore due to all the blowing and rubbing and the area around it is red. This is even when I take antihistamine.

My husband suffers from bad hayfever as well. But recently, someone advised him to cut out all dairy product. He did exactly that and he feels a whole lot better! So maybe it's worth a try?

Chip-pea,

Thanks for sharing. The only dairy product I consume everyday is semi-skimmed milk for my tea. Other than that, I take very little dairy food.

Roslyn,

There are stronger anti-histamine you can take. I forgot the names. Maybe you can ask your pharmacist?

I suffer from lng-term sinus/hayfever/hives and my life is dependant on anti-histamines.
