Enjoy it while it lasts

With rain on its way and the temperature dipping, I let the girls play in the garden at every opportunity. This morning, Lavigne played there while I hang the clothes. She didn't mind that Louisa was not with her. There were many things to keep her occupied. After their music class this afternoon, they were out again. Like yesterday, the children next door (my neighbour's a childminder) were playing in the garden too. They kept talking to the girls even though they couldn't see each other. One girl kept calling 'Louisa, Louisa' when she found out her name. Very funny. I was doing some embroidery at the patio and couldn't help but listen to their cute little conversations. They asked for one another's names, age, name of their teacher, etc etc. When the last 2 children were being picked up by their dad, the girl asked Louisa to go to the front door so that they could say 'hello' to each other. So sweet! I think I made the right choice to go into the garden again.
