I'm supposed to be in bed but just before I was going to switch off the computer, I chanced upon a mum's blog about her journey with cancer. I've yet to read her blog but watched the following documentary featuring her which made me very emotional. It's hard to imagine someone who was dying of cancer, let alone a young mum with 2 very small children, being so strong and courageous. Her smiles during the interview are hard to forget. She seemed to embrace her final journey in life with such passion that she seemed to be at peace with what she was facing. She possessed such an amazing strength and love for life that she didn't have much negative things to say about her circumstance. I have so much to learn from her. Just this afternoon when I had some friends over, we were talking about how cancer can just strike anyone irregardless of age. It is just so sad especially when young children are involved. Remember this?
