Today's the second day of the new term for the girls and my first day at work after the holidays. But we are snowed in. As I type on, it is still snowing heaving outside. I think it'll be worse then it was 3 weeks ago. My sister, who went home last night, said that whenever she's around, there'll be no snow but when she leaves, the snow will come. Kind of true but she did see some snowfall last night on the way to the airport.
This is my first post in the new year after almost 2 weeks of merry-making. Too much good food, lots of booze (in fact my alcohol consumption in this period is more than the whole year combined) and catching up with friends. But the best of it all was my sister was here to share it with me. Also, I'm now typing on a new keyboard, my first time using my new computer, my very first iMac - a gift from my very generous sister. It's all very exciting for me as there's something in the pipeline but it's now dampened by someone. Nevertheless, I'm going to block that out as there are better and more wonderful things in this world that is worth my attention.
I hope 2010 will be a good one for me and for you too! Happy New Year!
