In the name of Love

Last night, I met up with some old friends from school. One of them used to be this really quiet and soft spoken young man. A few weeks back, he did something which could potentially 'spoil the market' for guys out there. For several months, he racked his brain and thought of an unusual proposal idea, got the help of an animator and executed the plan - along busy Orchard Road. There was even a proposal advert in The New Paper. Who would have thought that he's such a romantic at heart. Certainly not me, back then. When I got to know about it on Facebook, my jaw dropped. I said to him yesterday 'Your girlfriend is very lucky to have you and I'm sure you're very lucky to have her too'. Still the same old him, he merely smiled. But I could tell he's a man filled with happiness. Click here to read about his proposal.

Another man will be proposing to his girlfriend by showing her a video clip on the big screen at Shaw Centre. He proposed the idea to another friend from the gathering who works for Shaw this morning. All these don't come cheap. So there are actually still so many die-hard romantics out there who would come up with all sorts of proposal ideas in the name of love.
