Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf 15

I was experimenting with HDR imaging. The proper method is to take multiple photographs at varying exposure levels and merge them using a photographic software. But I don't have the proper software and used different actions to try to achieve images that seem to have a high dynamic range instead.

There's still lots to learn though. I shall try the proper method one day.

I was just reading about HDR techniques yday and am thinking of it. But your photos are so dramatic, I LOVE THEM.. esp those with dramatic skyline and the lovely sea/foreground of flowers! You did wonderfully! (I was reading Photographer's Guide to Photoshop magazine's method)

And PS : you captured the east very well! We East-Enders will be proud of how you portray the best of East London... LOL!

Thanks, Tsu Lin! I'm glad someone likes it because it's not everyone's cup of tea. :)

Canary Wharf 10 & 11 looks alot like an artist's impression kinda photographs. And some of the rest looks like watercolour-style (esp the sky). You should go into this as a career!!

That was what I was trying to avoid. They don't look realistic. Oh I wish someone will hire me as a photo retoucher.
