I've heard about
this market for ages but didn't get the chance to go there until one fine day in June. We made the mistake of arriving there at lunch time on a Saturday, the busiest time of the week.
I had no idea what to expect but soon realised it's a place to explore, a haven for photographers. But it wasn't easy to jostle against the hungry crowd.
The place is just so interesting. I would like to go back when it's less crowded. The girls love the market too! They've been asking 'when can we go to Borough Market again?'.
Not only can you find fresh produce from all over UK but also products from other parts of Europe. Most people were drawn to the cooked food and snack stalls.
There were simply too many choices. In the end, I had one very big and fresh oyster and shared a chorizo sandwich with A. Louisa also had a giant slice of watermelon. I had been trying to replicate the chorizo sandwich at home because all of us love it so much.
The cakes look so delicious and tempting! But we were all full and were going to be out the whole day so didn't buy any to bring home.
Look at that sandwich. Such simple ingredients but absolutely divine! Just looking at it makes my mouth water.
As a flower lover, how can I not snap any picture of such beauties?
Oh I can't wait to make another trip to the market.

Ahhhh... miss this! Altho' once, I had my Orla Kiely purse nicked while 'jostling' through the unforgiving crowd. Hmph.
