We are more fortunate at where we are. Scotland and north England are boring the brunt of the adverse weather. Temperature dropped as low as -18C. I can't imagine that. The lowest we've had was around -5C and that was pretty hard going. I have been bundling up like a rice dumpling I must be waddling around like a penguin. But it's not all doom and gloom. With the snow, frost and wintry weather, the outdoors' looking very pretty and magical. We had fog the whole of yesterday. Combine that with the white and glistening branches on trees, it's looking alot like scenes out of Narnia. The trees look as though they had been sprinkled with dustings of icing sugar and glitter. Very enchanting indeed.
So if you don't think about the heating cost incurred, water bills (you will want to stay under the hot shower for as long as possible), scrapping your windscreen every morning, going through a box of teabags everyday (ok, that I exaggerate but you know what I mean), skin becoming as dry as the witch from Snow White, winter is actually not that bad afterall.

Hope the girls are coping well w the cold. Stock up on food in case you can't get out of the house!
I'm so not prepared for the 2nd wave of cold this weekend! Decathlon ran out of snow/ski boots, ski gloves & ski jacket that I need to get for the little girl as she has to play outdoor for 1.5hrs every morning. Yikes!
Hope your girls are coping well and wrap up more yourself, dumpling or not. :)
Tsu Lin: Play outdoor 1.5hrs every morning?!!
They're ok with the cold. I've got my heattech wear from Uniqlo and no longer look like a dumpling. :)
