We went away to Edinburgh, Scotland last week. A's working there and we sort of tagged along since it's the school holiday. Having read in the news that there was going to be snow, I thought we would be stuck in the hotel. Just before take-off, the pilot had mentioned that snow was on its way but we didn't encounter any during our 6-days' stay, not even a flurry. On the contrary, there was plenty of sunshine and the weather was really mild. When I spoke to friends upon coming back, they told me it had been wet and cold in England. So we were lucky. In fact when we got back on Saturday, it felt really cold. Like a friend had said 'the irony of it'. Anyhow, it was a really nice getaway. More on that later with pics coming up! Check back later.
