I'm so glad to have finished stringing all the leis. I can finally put away my pair of scissors. What a relief! Now that this has been completed, I'll have to move on to the cake. I really hope it'll turn out the way I want it to be. Fingers crossed.
It just occured to me that I should start planning Lavigne's party right after Louisa's party ends. Time's very tight as I'll be away for a week in September. Her birthday's slightly over a month after Louisa's. If I'm being honest, I'm not quite up for another party. They are too close together, back to back. I feel I've used up all my energy putting together a party and there's no more enthusiasm left in me to have another one so soon after. But I can't be unfair, can I? Sadly, I guess Lavigne's party will never be as good as Louisa's. I need to be more organised and plan way ahead next time. Adrian was saying that it's good for their birthdays to be close together. If not, it will seem like I'll be preparing for parties throughout the year.

About your woes on planning 2 birthday parties, you make me realised and really grateful that I only need to do 1 a year...Phew!
Cant wait to see all the things you done for Louisa's party....dun forget to post pix, ya!!
You're indeed lucky! But then again, you'll have more guests which means more work also. How I wish I'm in Singapore where I can just order buffet and pop into a shop to buy a nice cake. Yup! Will post pics for the party.
