Much ado about nothing

I'm taking a break from cutting straws and stringing the pieces of crepe flowers together to make the leis. I'd finished making the bracelets, 15 sets in total. See the flowers below? This is only a small portion. I reckon I must have cut more than 1000 pieces in all. Oh no! I didn't cut them one by one. I folded the paper and cut several at one go. Though I'm a flower lover as you may have known, I'm not sure if I can face cutting more flower shapes.

Today, I received my parcel of party items bought online from Party Packs. I'm pleased with all the items except for one scene setter where the printing is smudged. Louisa likes her grass skirt very much. I didn't think of getting one initially but since I have only one at home, I'd better get it. Lavigne will wear the raffia grass skirt my sister, Jean, bought from Hawaii years ago. I'm still figuring out how to wear the coconut shells.

Adrian came home this evening with the most adorable invite. I was cooking when he showed me the doll. I only took a quick glance and thought it was a present. It's actually a party invite to his friend's daughter's birthday party. I wonder how much they paid for this cute little thing. Not cheap I think.
