Homesick

I'm feeling the sudden pang of homesickness. Here I am, scouring the internet for inspiration and ideas of what to cook for dinner, I chance upon pictures after pictures of local food. Orh Luak, Nasi Lemak, Rojak. It doesn't help when my tummy is rumbling too. Perhaps it is also because I posted my dad's birthday card earlier after written lots of my thoughts on it. Oh, I also just 'found' my cousin on facebook. Furthermore, Val is going back to Singapore for a short holiday next week. Home and family are never far from my thought, though I'm so far away from them. Will I just pack up and go home for good? Not just yet. Like any other feeling, being homesick comes and go.
