My dear friend, V, is usually the reason we get to go London. She lives there with her family....until 2 days back when she moved out of the capital. V, I have no reason to go to London anymore.
So when my sister-in-law and her hubby who were here to visit us planned a day out to the city, I grabbed the opportunity to go with them. The girls like going to London too and I like taking pictures when I'm there. Talking about which, I hadn't been using my camera and didn't know the batteries were running low and they died on me when we reached Buckingham Palace! I was devastated I could slap myself! It was one of those rare occasion when I could be a tourist for the day. The girls had never been to many of the tourist spots too. So I repeatedly turned the camera on, tried to snap a shot before it got turned off again. This carried on until it totally went dead.
I really admired my brother-in-law. He drove us there without a sat nav and my sis-in-law read the map (who says women can't read map?). I was so impressed with them.
Anyhow, I shall let the pictures do the talking. Be warned though. There's lots!

Did you take those pictures? They are really good!
Yes I did, Michelle. Thanks for your compliment.
I love your photos and new blog layout. Which camera are you using? The photos look so gorgeous! Making me miss London so much.
Lilian,
Thanks! I use Canon SX10IS. My sis has the same camera as you (if you've not changed yours) and I tried it over the weekend. Now, I'm seriously thinking of buying it. But Hub says I must sell my old one first.
I alternate between Canon EOS 1000 (for portrait shots) and Canon G11 which is easier to lug around. But I think your camera's better, or at least your photo-taking skills are.
I was just asking Tsu Lin to ask you how you edit your pictures :) Might as well ask you here myself. You use photoshop? And your photo colours are so vibrant and the pictures are sharp and crisp. Lovely.
Hey Ros, I must have missed this post earlier. Your shots are greeeeat! Whoever said you need a DSLR to take good photos is so wrong. You just need a great photographer! =)
Thanks, Bing! But my skills are nowhere like yours.
I was just lucky maybe. The first couple of shots were taken from inside a car. I was quite surprised they turned out rather sharp.
