Tourist for a day

My dear friend, V, is usually the reason we get to go London. She lives there with her family....until 2 days back when she moved out of the capital. V, I have no reason to go to London anymore.

So when my sister-in-law and her hubby who were here to visit us planned a day out to the city, I grabbed the opportunity to go with them. The girls like going to London too and I like taking pictures when I'm there. Talking about which, I hadn't been using my camera and didn't know the batteries were running low and they died on me when we reached Buckingham Palace! I was devastated I could slap myself! It was one of those rare occasion when I could be a tourist for the day. The girls had never been to many of the tourist spots too. So I repeatedly turned the camera on, tried to snap a shot before it got turned off again. This carried on until it totally went dead.

I really admired my brother-in-law. He drove us there without a sat nav and my sis-in-law read the map (who says women can't read map?). I was so impressed with them.
