Photo editing

My hubby doesn't understand why I can spend ages sitting in front of my computer tweaking photos I had taken.

You see, I like to take pictures. Even the best photographers edit their photos to make them 'look nicer'. Let alone me, a mediocre one. Sometimes you need to crop away some bits, make the pictures straight (a lot of the photos I take are skewed!), correct exposure/colour etc but mostly for me, it's to make them 'pop'.

This is an example of poor composition. Part of the scooter had been cut off. But I have my excuse.
It was quickly snapped before I had to run across the road. Hubby was hurrying me.

However, not everyone likes the enhanced 'rich' look. My youngest sister is one of them. She always says my pictures are over saturated. But that's how I like them and she has her own style.

Photo editing is fun! There's so much you can do to a picture. But the downside is, it is extremely time-consuming and highly addictive! In case you're wondering and I'm not ashamed to admit, I edit all my photos, except those taken during my pre-Photoshop days.
