I was at M&S's ordering counter when the shop assistant bid farewell to this elderly lady in front of me and wished her 'have a good day!'. The lady said 'no'. I could see the surprised look on the face of the young man. He asked 'no?'. Lady replied, 'I don't want to have a good day!'. Young man then asked, 'You don't want to have a good day? Why not?' Lady said, 'That's because you asked me to have one and and I don't want it. Even if you wish me a day day, it doesn't mean I will have a one.' Poor man looked at me, then said to her 'Alright, ok' before quickly reverting his attention to me 'May I help you madam?' while the lady was still standing there.
Some people are strange.
